Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website, starting from our home page, and when you hire Slabline DeSoto Epoxy Flooring for work at your property. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling work with us, you agree to them.
If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work through it.
What we do
Slabline DeSoto Epoxy Flooring is a flooring contractor in DeSoto, TX. We coat, polish, stain, resurface and seal concrete floors for homes and businesses in DeSoto and the cities around it, and you can read more about us on our About page.
The descriptions, photos and examples on this website are general information. The exact scope of your job is set by the written estimate or agreement we give you, not by anything on the website.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and there's no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the floor, the condition of the concrete, the finish you pick and how much prep the slab needs.
Concrete can hide problems until we start grinding, such as moisture, old sealers, soft spots or cracks that run deeper than they looked. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree with you on any change in price or scope before we do the added work.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor prices may change, so we may need to update it before we schedule your job.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Coatings and sealers depend on temperature, humidity and moisture in the slab, so we may move a start date when conditions would hurt the finish, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
Every finish needs time to cure before it's used. You'll need to keep foot traffic, vehicles and furniture off the floor for the time we give you, because damage from using the floor early isn't covered.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (972) 450-9481 as soon as you can. If we've already bought materials for your job or started work, you're responsible for those costs and for the work done up to that point, as your written agreement sets out.
Your part at the property
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, clear it of vehicles and belongings unless your agreement says we'll move them, and tell us about any known problems with the concrete. If we can't get into the space on the scheduled day, we may need to reschedule and charge for any added trip or material costs your agreement allows.
Payment terms
Deposits, payment amounts and due dates are set in your written estimate or agreement. Unless your agreement says otherwise, final payment is due when the work is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause work, charge any late fees your agreement and Texas law allow, and use the remedies Texas law gives contractors for unpaid work, which can include a lien on the property.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about your finished floor isn't right, contact us and we'll come look at it and work with you to make it right.
Any written warranty on your job is the one in your agreement, along with whatever the coating or material maker offers on its own products. Beyond those, and as far as Texas law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Our guarantee and any warranty don't cover damage from misuse, heavy impacts, dragging equipment, chemicals the finish isn't made to handle, normal wear, settling or new cracks in the concrete underneath, moisture that comes up through the slab after the job, or work that someone else has changed or repaired.
Information on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but it isn't advice for your particular floor until we've seen it.
Limits on our liability
As far as Texas law allows, Slabline DeSoto Epoxy Flooring isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, such as lost use of a space, lost business or lost profits, that come from our work or from this website. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Settling a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, tell us first by phone or through our Contact page, because most problems get sorted out fastest that way. If we can't settle it between us within a reasonable time, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any lawsuit about them will be filed in a Texas court that covers the county where the work was done or where we're based in DeSoto.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies to your use of the website. The terms in your signed estimate or agreement apply to your job, and if the two ever conflict, your signed agreement wins.
If you have questions about these terms, call us at (972) 450-9481 or reach us through our Contact page.
